Have you ever used a paraffin spa on your hands

Short explanation--there are places you can go and get hot wax or paraffin therapy for you hands and sometimes feet, or elbows. You can also buy home models of these small beauty appliances.
I had one in the past I loved, and wore out. My doctor suggested that it would help my arthritis so I bought a new one.
The way you use it is to dip your hands several times in the hot paraffin then put them in plastic bags to hold in the heat. I also used to have quilted mitts to go over the plastic.
The reason I even thought to ask was because I have been here for a while trying to type with paraffin and bags on both of my hands.
That is not the fastest way I know of to myLot.

It is very soothing for aches and pains and it moisturizes the skin. Beauty shops often do it, and I have seen it in chiropractors and in nursing homes.

It is very soothing, without having to swallow a bunch of pills.

No, it is cosmetic grade. My first one was even infused with essential oils. Very hard to type.

Yes, it does help the hands. I injured my wrists two different years in a row at skating parties. I am a klutz. When I got my first one, my doctor (a different one) was pretty certain I had carpal tunnel. The symptoms I had then were classic. However, once I started using the paraffin spa those symptoms disappeared.

I've read before that hot wax can really relieve the pain of arthritis. I'm glad it works for you.

Yes, me too. Glad my doctor reminded me and I got a new one to use.
