I'm glad to be back in my warm area again. Its cold in other parts of the United States and 4 layers of clothes to keep warm while on vacation. While we were gone it rained a lot in this area and it was really windy where we ended up in Las Vegas, Nevada. I noticed the locals looked cold and several commented that its cold, so they were even bundling up. I did see one lady in short shorts and she didn't look cold. The ladies that did shows and were in feathers (showgirls) looked comfortable, so the outfits must be really hot normally.
We did buffets, so was able to pick a lot of low calorie foods that are filling. Also we walked almost everywhere, so expect the scale to go down. My clothes feel loose.
I enjoyed walking around and seeing the animals beautiful Koi, ducks and birds.

We were on the strip and wow the number of people was high with a huge convention with a lot of companies showing off new technology. Robots and driverless cars were the big events.

@LadyDuck There are so many people going to the NES Technology Convention now that the event is held in many of the casinos. Each year has become bigger and bigger.

@Fishmomma We have been to the Las Vegas Convention Center many years, when my husband was an Apple developer and he wrote for several French computer magazines.

Buffets can be pretty costly but I live eating at the now and then. I love stuffing myself with yummy food.

No as I live in a warm part of the United States, so need a lot of layers of clothes when I visit other areas of the United States. Our winter is in the 60's and Las Vegas was 38 degrees when looking at the temperature gauge. I was told it would get lower and I sprinted for indoors.
