I Love Winter

But I'm no fool. I have winter happening outside my window today. I also saw the weather bulletin for today and it's not good out there. We've had a lot of snow during the night and a lot more happening today along with a wintry mix of snow, rain, and ice.
I am not going to the pool today. I am not stepping outside my door. I'm content to watch it and hope that all those people traveling today get to their destinations without any trouble.
Plows have been out for several hours plowing and salting. I do not expect any snow delays for schools as conditions at this moment look okay, but they will deteriorate as the day progresses. I just saw a school bus go past, confirming that thought.
It was snowing when I went to bed last night, more than the flurries we got all day. I don't know how much we've gotten, but there is a couple inches out there and more on the way.
I also don't expect I'll need to leave the apartment today as this is an all day snow event. Though they will most likely do any plowing of the parking lot tomorrow. I need to look at the forecast, but the last time I checked, we weren't getting snow tomorrow, but will again on Thursday. I should probably do laundry tomorrow.

70! but temps are now dropping again and we have an ice storm headed at us, or so the news say, should hit tomorrow sometime

@Drosophila The forecast changed. I'm expecting a lot of cancellations tomorrow. They are everywhere tonight. Conditions are treacherous. I won't be going anywhere again tomorrow.

Most people complain of the snow. Good thing you like Winter. There is low pressure area near our place and it's grey outside but not as rainy as yesterday

That's good. I heard something on the radio that 49 out of 50 states have snow. That was yesterday.

@NJChicaa We're currently at 37 but it will get colder and then it will get really windy here tonight. Wind gusts up to 50 mph with flash freeze. Snow is supposed to start again soon as well. Everything is treacherous out there. I saw the news earlier and all activities were canceled tonight. I'm wondering about tomorrow as I also saw we're in for a lot of snow tomorrow.
