I will presume and state that I was greatly missed. 
Aw! Heck, it's fine. I was kidding. I did miss you all, though. I am sure I missed a lot of fun conversations. I am also sure that there are and will be more such conversation that I can be a part of.
I came with new info.....
The day after January 13 marks the beginning of financial New Year for Punjabis. And on January 13, we will be celebrating Lohri- a festival marking the harvest of rabi crops.
A bon fire, circling the fire, eating "saag" and "makki di roti", groundnuts, popcorns, "rewri", etc. with family and friends.

This Punjabi festival has more to it than just rewri and groundnuts going into the bonfire.

@GardenGerty Oh yeah! After Lohri, it was Makar Sakranti. Now 26th we will be celebrating Republic Day. We have festivals all year round.
