He is 68 years old today He used to run marathon for the Olympics.. He still works for London marathons every year. He runs local maraons for charity. He can still run 5miles in 35 minutes. He is my student learning to use computers. He tells me "running is good for the head!" Man, I feel old and rusty compare to him! and I'm only half his age! Sometimes, age is just a number. Life is just what you do from sunrise to sunset. Do you know any energetic 70 years olds? How do you feel about aging?

I'm old but I'm certainly not as energetic. I've hated sports all my life. So this doesn't change now.

I've never enjoyed sports except that I did enjoy riding horses. I was useless at everything else.

There are many fit and healthy people at that age and older. Good for him to knock old age down!

Not in my country. We, as a people, are too laid back. Also our country do not encourage running or jogging...too risky with the crime rate so high.So we are all old by the time we reach our forties.

Running long distances is not good for your joints, so I don't do it. I do like to keep fit, but I think by the time I am 70 it will be limited to just walking. Fortunately that is ages away, so I can continue with my current regime to maintain my racing snake physique.

well funnily enough, he wanted to learn how to watch marathons on YouTube. I've never seen a guy so passionate about running. It's refreshing. Age seemed to have done nothing to dull that passion. Ya, life is exactly that, one can seek all grand meanings or big picture stuff in the meaning of life, the concept of life, the origin of life, and the purpose of life. But really, personal life is as simple as the things we do day to day.

To me age is just a number. I do not care about age. I just want to be healthy and stay that way as I get older.

@Drosophila I hate to think what they found is the reason we're aging. I can tell you and I guarantee it has nothing to do with science.
