Balls balls balls everywhere

Yes, I said it three times. Let me explain. I decided it was time to clean out some of the drawers in the bathroom. You know, tidy things up, get rid of stuff I don't need or use. Not difficult, not much thought involved. I opened a drawer and decided that one should be the last one I work on so I closed it. Unfortunately a bag got caught somehow and I had to use a little force. When I did a bag of cotton balls erupted like Old Faithful and there were cotton balls all over the room! Everywhere I looked were cotton balls. Since I think cotton balls should be used only once I figured being on the floor counted as that one time. They are now safe and sound in the trash. Unfortunately my camera was on charge at the time so I couldn't get a photo! Photo: https://pixabay.com/en/usa-wyoming-1605585/

At least they were relatively easy to pick up - last week a snagged one of those heating pads and tiny little wheat type balls were all over the place.

There you go! You need a cat too! They would have loved to play... erm... to help you clear them all up off the floor

I should have asked you to send your cat over - Ruby would have loved that!

Cleaning out a drawer can often produce unexpected outcomes. Usually it is the pleasure of finding something mislaid and considered lost. Distractions are never far away.

That must have been a funny sight when it erupted out of the drawer.

Yea I would have thrown them away as well. So you can get new ones with that 50 dollar deal with your health insurance.

Lol I would just put them back in the bag unless the floor was very dirty where they landed.

I never consider a bathroom floor to be all that sanitized.

@AbbyGreenhill Nope it is likely to be very germy. They are low cost enough it wouldn't be a big deal for most people to toss the bag and buy a new one.

@shaggin Not just people germs, but Ruby does go in there and sleeps!

Cleaning our a drawer usually sounds like a good idea at the time at least with your exploding cotton balls you don't have to worry about finding a spot for them

True, but then again I have none in case I need them.

@AbbyGreenhill Now, it makes sense after you explained. The picture looks to me like a volcano ready to erupt.
