Are you a morning person, an afternoon person, or evening person?

I'm definitely not a morning person. I usually become more awake after lunch. My peak mentally active hour is at 17:00? Are you a morning person, an afternoon person, or evening person?

Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. On the whole mid-morning seems to be OK, and depending on how heavy the lunch, usually the 16:30 to 18:30 window.

@Drosophila Mistakes alway creep in, regardless of the time of day. Setting aside a contiguous, undisturbed period of time usually works well for me, but emergence from that zone could be later than expected. Time flies when you're having fun ;)

I'm more of a morning person. I've always been more of a morning person. My husband is the opposite. He's more of an evening/night person.

Yes to all the above. Right now I'm more morning than any other time of day, though I'm also a night owl, so it depends on the situation.

@Drosophila I'm usually awake around 4 but try to stay in bed until at least 5. Next week I'll be back at the pool again. My medication should be working by then and my life should be back to normal once again.

I am a morning person, I don't know how it happened! I used to be a night owl, my best time for studying was after 11pm every night. Now because of work I have to focus from the early hours. I guess the mind has to adapt and the body follows as well.

@Drosophila I would like to have one more hour of sleep every day, I wake up at 7:30. It's not that early, but it is ideal to take advantage of my peak hours which are after 9 am. 14:00 - 22:00 would be amazing for me a few years ago. Do you still wake up earlier to take care of your daily tasks before work?

I am definitely NOT a morning person, although I wake up easily each morning. I am more of a night owl. I often feel sluggish through the day, but then around 8:00pm or 9:00pm I get my second wind and suddenly become very energetic.

I love being up early, but just to sit and sip my coffee. Not to actually do anything energetic. If I don't sit too long I get a short window of energy from about 10 to noon. Longer if I add in short breaks. Then I can keep going for hours. But if those breaks turn into an hour on myLot, then my energy is gone.
