Federal Jobs

Trump did something today and I'm looking for input on only one of the things he signed, as its the one that has a huge impact on my community. Today Trump signed a freeze on hiring for the federal workforce except military. In other words no hiring and a lot of people have federal jobs in this county. Now somebody leaves for any reason and everyone is going to work a lot harder to do their job and do some of another job. I wasn't surprised by the other 2 items signed and both would cause a big debate on whether we should be doing either one. Sure hope not to see anything else that means less jobs in the United States.

No clue how this will go over in the long run. It is getting a little complicated, isn't it?

It sure is going to be a lot harder to get a job here at least this year. One of the other places people work is Agriculture, but more fields are becoming housing and empty buildings.

That seems strange to me too. Is he thinking there are too many federal jobs? And what about Homeland Security and FBI AND other necessary departments that may not be considered military? Very weird. I agree that it will make folks work a lot harder or longer if like yiu said people quit or get fired. Did anyone ever mention how long this freeze would last?

I don't know the answer to this question. All I'm sure is he signed paperwork for the freeze.

How interesting.
