I Can't Get Him Anything...

Because of the little mishap with my bank account and my phone bill I don't think I will have enough money to get my hubby something for Valentine's day... This bums me out so much because I really did want to get him something. I hope with adding the money from payout to my account that I can manage to at least get enough to buy him candy. I have never felt worse because I am sure he will get me something, granted he is the one with the job so he has money coming in consistently. Still it sucks I can't get him anything...
Who would you feel bad about not being able to get a gift for on v-day?

Valentine's Day wasn't special in Australia when we were young so really we just regard it as a commercial occasion designed to create income for the stores. But I'm sorry for your circumstances. Can you cook your husband his favourite meal maybe?

There are so many non-monetary gifts such as make-it-yourself items, cooking a special meal, a poem. I'm a professional non-monetary gift giver since I'm broke all the time

Well if I were to cook us something special I would like to know if it would just be us which I don't know if it will be. I also don't know if he will be working that day.
