Sometimes You Have To Give A Little

These last couple of months have been a real lesson to me in patience, endurance, and faith.
I have learned to be a little more patient, something that is very hard for me. I like things to happen immediately, I guess you could say I don't like waiting. Are you the same way?
I have learned that you need to endure a lot of sadness to get to the good things. I have also learned that there really is good and bad in everything. I definitely now that there isn't all good or all bad in any situation. What do you believe?
I also know that you sometimes have to step back and let what is going to happen, happen. You cannot control everything. Things happen for a reason. How do you feel about this?
Have I learned the wrong lessons? I do now that I have had to step back, hang in there, have faith, be patient, and learn to endure and embrace what is to be.

Learning to be more patient is such a gift. I need that so much right now. I can't control everything but I need to let get things to a positive end. Don't sweat the small stuff and pick your fights carefully.

I have always looked at life as a school and that every situation can teach us something, either positive or negative. The virtues you mention of patience, endurance, and faith are so valuable to possess and perfect. What we learn and take to heart and how we react to what happens to us and around us and what we become can serve as well now and into eternity. There is so much to learn!

You seem to have realised quite a few of the things that you feel are required to move on. What or who was your inspiration?

@HazySue I am spiritual too. My belief is not how much one has but one makes of what one has is the route to happiness.
Have a nice day

I think your absolutely right. Life throws things at us that we never expect at times and some things are easier to handle than others. Sometimes we do have to let go and let God because there's nothing we can do to change the situation. I'm grateful I have my faith to get me through all situations-good and bad.

That sounds about right, though for me, when things are bad (like now) I try to remember that God has something good in everything, and I have been learning to see small blessings all over.

I always believed our lives (mine anyway) was planned out way before I was born. I have no patience and never will at my age! Sadness is part of living but it doesn't have to be overwhelming. I am at a place in my life where I am supposed to be and glad to be here.

@HazySue The only thing any of us can do is go with the flow.

Patience is a virtue. I sometimes get agitated and worked up over silly things. I remind myself that I need to calm down and be patient. I am afraid, I have my daddy's temper though. Sometimes being patient is way harder than it should be.

Life is interesting, with plenty of ups and downs. So many things are just not what we can control.
