I found an amazing app

Last night while I was browsing the app store on my phone, I came across a brilliant app. It allows people to share their real-time location with others. That would come very handy for me and my wife, as we don't have to text each other about our whereabouts or that we arrived to work/home safely. It could also work well in case of emergencies. What is the most useful app you use?

I use the iPhone tracker to know where we are at =) But this real time is for you / your wife, no one else would know right Cause it could be unsafe for others to know where you're at ... at all times?

Yes of course. And the app gives you full control to block people from your contacts (your app contacts) from locating you.

Well, that is a nice one bit on the flipside it might land you in trouble if the person you are sharing it with is a stalker and a control freak. Sometimes I don't want to tell my real location hahaha

If you use whatsapp you could share the current location along with texting option. I prefer that. What is the app name that you are referring to ?

I didn't know that. But the difference is that this app allows you to see your contacts as they are moving. There are also quick buttons for calling and texting. The app is called Zenly

Our son in Ireland can tell exactly where we are with his phone so I guess that is the same app. It is quite useful but you wouldn't want everyone knowing where you are every minute of the day.

Maybe it's the same or similar app. The app allows you to control which of your contacts can see you. You can also turn your gps off if you want to be invisible to everyone

@Madshadi With ours, we can turn it off and we have to authorise its use before it can be used.
