My Facebook is Still Blowing Up so I Came Here

The political turmoil in this country is making my Facebook blow up. I don't talk politics on Facebook. It's just not worth it. I go there to have fun and relax. And though I am pretty good at ignoring what I don't want to read, sometimes I can't help it. It's enough though to make your brain explode.
So I came here to myLot where the living is easy. Here we manage to take pleasure in the littler things and that's okay. Talking about recipes, raccoons, kids and the state of home environment is much more restful. So thanks, you all, for being here.

It can get hairy over there! I stay out of the political stuff on FB . . . there are extreme sides on both sides of the fence . . . I have my opinions too but I'm not going to show it out there. It's a much calmer atmosphere on myLot . . . I'd rather come here too!

@suziecat7 Yes it is and every new channel is just repeating the same thing over and over again. So exhausting when you really just want to find out the weather for the day.

My facebook has been pretty void of the usual crew who condemn anyone not on Trumps side. They are the people who make my blood boil and I keep my comments to myself.

I joined a political group on Facebook and didn't think that anytime I logged on that there would be continual messages in my main feed by the group. I like being in it , but it gets so overwhelming at times. I try to ignore a lot of it.

I don't have a Facebook account so I have no idea what is going on over there. I don't like to talk politics either. I saw on the news last night there's a guy living in San Fransisco who fears for his life because he is a Trump supporter. That's sad that someone has to fear for their live because of their political beliefs. I understand there is a group of Trump supporters who meet in an undisclosed place because they don't want people in San Fransisco to know they are Trump supporters. They all fear for their lives.
