~I Am Scared This Time~

I know I have done it four other times so you wouldn't think I would be scared this time but...I am. I am more afraid this time than any other time. =( I'm not sure if I told y'all about the lump on my lower back, but it's really painful. I developed that lump after I gave birth to Julian. When I walk my leg gives out on me at times and it feels like something stabs me there when it happens. I got it checked by one doctor who didn't seem to think it was a big deal. The chiropractor thinks otherwise-she thought it was quite serious. Once I'm not pregnant anymore I can get some tests done to find out what it is. I am terrified to go into labor with Josiah-mostly because of that spot since I have all back labor every time. I am scared that lump is going to kill me in labor-or leave me paralyzed or something. I just need some prayers that this labor will go smoothly, and not be as painful as Julian was. And that my back will be okay afterwards...

You need to relax a bit. Tension will make everything harder to do. I had more health concerns with my fifth pregnancy....but it was such a quick easy labour. I arrived at the hospital around midnight and she was born just after one...one push...she weighed 9lbs 4 oz.

@Morleyhunt I know my husband said the same thing, that I need to try to relax as much as possible. I hope it works the same way with this little guy. I can't help but worry about this labor since my last one was so bad.

@Marilynda1225 I know, and I am just praying for the best but I have had back labor with all 4 of mine so far. I don't think that part will change. =(

@LovingMyBabies every pregnancy is different (I had four) so maybe this one will be the easiest of all

Sure I will pray for you... In Jesus name be healed immediately and completely, Amen. I have a lump also on my right waist. It hurt also I felt last 2011 and my mom said it was nothing, but right I feel scared everytime it hurts... but what I do is to drink a lot of water maybe it is due to a UTI. But then I always pray everytime it hurts and the pain will simply go away. Prayer with faith works. There is a lot of pain in my body that will simply go away just by praying. Jesus never fail us ever. God bless.

Keeping you and your little one in my prayers. I can understand why you feel scared but I am sure things will be just fine. It will be good when you can have it looked at and see exactly what it is.

@Happy2BeMe Yes it will be all over soon. Try to focus on one day at a time and call out to Jesus for peace that is yours because of the pain He endured on that old rugged cross. God bless you and your little one in Jesus name!

I heard from a friend who got homeopathic medicine that helped her to give birth more easily than her first time, when it was really painful.. that medicine must have been in use many decades since then! I'll pray for you!

I can't imagine a lump not being worth checking into.. have you asked the OB about it?

@LovingMyBabies I don't see why it can't be looked at.. you could get an ultrasound of it. When I was pregnant they were ready to do surgery to remove my gallbladder and didn't seem concerned about my pregnancy...

@katsmeow1213 I need an xray since the chiropractor told me she thinks its my sacrum bone out of place. They won't do that while I'm pregnant.

@katsmeow1213 Yeah I do need to get it checked but I can't while pregnant. I am asking on Wednesday when I go.

I can understand how you feel. I was scared when I gave birth to my little guy. Even though I had done it before, I was scared. So, I can relate. My thoughts and heart are with you. I hope it all goes well. Best of luck!

@LovingMyBabies I bet it does. I know your ob can't do nothing but maybe you should see someone for another opinion on it. Do you have a family doctor or is that the one that is not worried about it?

@Tina30219 Thank you. I hope so too. It worries me a lot. =(

Lumps are not normal and if it causes you pain it should be something to talk to your doctor about.

@Plethos Do you know how long that lasts? This has been going on for more than a year now. =( The chiropractor said it felt like my pelvic bone never went back to normal after having my youngest. I can't get xrays done while pregnant though so it has to wait until after I have the baby.

@Plethos I had it before I got pregnant with Josiah. I noticed it right after I had my 1 year old. And it has just gotten more painful. =(

@LovingMyBabies - if thats the case, your recent pregnancy caused it to pop out of place. Ive known it to happen to women whove had babies too close together to where the body hasnt quite healed from a recent birth.

@amadajay Thank you. I don't know what the lump is. I can't get tests done since I'm pregnant. =( It could be the bone out of place, could be nerves or it could be the muscle. I don't know which is what scares me.
