A sunny day inside and out

A sunny day really does the soul good. No wonder, life cannot survive without it. Even though it is bitterly cold outside, I feel as though I am in the tropics as I watch the sun's rays cast shadows on the snowy mounds outside. I imagine it is white sand, not snow. The birds and squirrels are busy and I enjoy the signs of life from the comfort of my kitchen table. Three flowers on my hibiscus plant are in bloom today. Do I have to go outside? No. Yes I am in the tropics for now. How is the weather in your neck of the woods?

@JudyEv stir crazy, cabin fever, and a real health condition called SAD(seasonal affective disorder) all related to the cold winter months.

@Freelanzer Do they call it 'stir-crazy' or somesuch? It's hard for me to imagine being so fed up as we just don't get that sort of weather here.

@Freelanzer , here it is summer, but it is a very cloudy, grey day, we might get some thunderstorms, but I love a good thunderstorm. I am glad you enjoyed a sunny day :)

@Freelanzer , yes, it usually is by us, that's why I enjoy it, if it was cold it would be unpleasant. I hope you've had more sunny days :)

So, you abandoned us? I don't blame you. Montreal is about to hit with some nasty weather of cold, winds, snow and ice pellets. The next 24 hours will not be a sandy beach on a tropical paradise island.

No sunshine here today. We have a dull, gray rainy day but it's far better than any snow we'd have to shovel.
