Cuddles and Hank

I just had to write one more discussion because of Cuddles. Some of you have already seen some of the shots I got of the 3 dogs with the Piggy toy but while the dogs were having fun with the toy Cuddles the kitty was in her room hoping someone would visit. She is Hanks 17 year old kitty and is very affectionate. As I passed by Hanks computer room I got the opportunity to get a few photos of a very hands on kinda kitty. I was laughing at Hank because he was trying to do some work on his budget while Cuddles walked all over his paperwork. Does this happen to you? As you know, I don't post any faces of people here, I figure you get enough just with the kritters faces.

Gaama our rooster did that when our maid was in her room studying. He would jump and sit on her books.

@rebelann Our chickens were our pets. They went when God called them.

Ok, that's odd. I don't think I would want a chicken or other bird doing that cuz when they gotta go they just plain go.

Cuddles looks like she's lots of help with the paperwork. My son's cat, Tiger, likes to help me when I'm working on the computer by curling up against my arm so I cannot move it.

@rebelann Oddly, Tiger only started hanging around with me when my son went off to college. Before then, he would follow my son everywhere and sit down wherever Z sat down.

Ahhhh, I get it @DWDavis you're the next best thing. Poor Tiger when you think about it, his favorite human didn't take him along when he left. Nobody can tell me cats aren't as loyal as dogs, but they are more demanding

@rebelann I've taken photos of other cats doing other things, but I haven't seen my cousins cats because she lives the other end of the country.

Cuddles is a real little cutie. She looks very much like a cat we had. Doodles likes to wash himself on my newspaper. That makes it quite difficult to read, let alone turn the pages.

I can imagine. I do get a kick out of those kitties that find the need to do a thorough washing while you watch, as if they need to make sure you know they are totally clean.

17 years old? How long is a cat's life by the way?

Some do @Daljinder the ones that live most of their lives outdoors don't usually last as long, they are more prone to diseases and predators.

@rebelann ...and here I thought that 10 years old was very old for the kitty cat. Good to know that they live that long.

I actually know a few people who are allergic to their dogs and cats but they go to a doctor to get shots to prevent their allergies from causing them distress @ilocosboy they all love their pets.

Oh yeah, if they think they want their half full bowl refilled they'll pester you until you fill it. My current kitty doesn't do this but those I've had before used to.

Cats are demanding that way. For some reason, they are quite attracted to computer keyboards and writing pads and anything else that a human has that is keeping their hands busy. Kind of like the cats are saying, "I have a much better use for your hands! Now, rub me!"
