Are you looking to get an education that doesn't mean more debt? I found a solution, if your patient and can wait for just a little bit of time and willing to move to the city that is offering a way to get an education. The city has found a good way of helping people be able to get the schooling needed for certain jobs. This goes in affect Fall Session. The city is San Francisco and Measure W passed and its a transfer tax when houses sell for at least 5 million. You must live in San Francisco for one year to get free tuition at City College saving $46 a credit and if your low income $250 included to pay for books, transportation, school supplies and health fees. Part time get $100. I think this is a good deal, if you live there now or are willing to move.

Public schools are free in most of European countries. My father sent me to a private school because he wanted to have a well mannered daughter. My brother went to a public school and he paid nothing.

That is great news. Do they have requirements to be a citizen? I'm trying to help several people in this city find a way to help their grandchildren get a degree and not pay over 10 years their future loans.

@LadyDuck Thanks I will keep looking for ways to save money. I don't want to see others with big college bills and in debt for as long as me. I'm so glad its paid off now.

@Fishmomma We went to school in Italy and we were born in Italy, we still are Italian citizens, I cannot yet ask to become Swiss, I have not lived here enough years yet and I have not checked all the requirements.

Another solution would be to work at least 20 hours a week for Starbucks. Through their College Achievement Plan students can attend Arizona State University online and get fully reimbursed for a 4-year degree.

That would be a great way to attend school for many degrees. Thanks for posting another way to get a degree.
