Things I also do not want for Valentine's Day

After reading a post by Shaggin about what she doesn't want for Valentine's Day, I thought about that myself.
My husband and I have never celebrated Valentine's Day very much. We do special things together throughout the year.
But what I really, absolutely would not want is one of those hoodie-footie things. I'm sure there are women who adore them, but I'm not one of 'em.
I also do not want a five foot stuffed bear or stuffed anything. Well, a stuffed crust pizza would be fine.
And I truly do not want a Chia pet, a 20 pound box of chocolates, or a gift card to KFC.
Oh, okay, I might accept the chocolates.
What are your faves for Valentine's Day?
Photo is mine, some yummy Vietnamese coffee.

We don't celebrate Valentine's day at all, we did when we were very young but this year we are going out to dinner at the golf club dining room here at our resort and it should be lovely I am not, however, dressing up, just black jeans and a red shirt!! lol

@1creekgirl lol It's been years since we went out on Valentine's Day, I am not one to make reservations at fancy places lol But we have money in our club dining account so I plan to eat my way through it lol

All I really want is something I know came from the heart. A card with a personal note on it. Cheap flowers are okay. I'd prefer not to have candy or chocolates as I'm trying to lose weight. I've received enough stuffed animals and jewelry in the past that I think just going out for dinner is good enough.

@1creekgirl Now if only I could figure out what to do for my husband besides just a card.

I would much rather have a nice dinner out than a gift.

It really is rather silly, I think. My husband did give me a card one year that read, "Are you free for Valentine's Day? If not, I'll go as high as $2.98."

My husband and I have married for 14 years and we don't really pay attention to the Valentine's Day so much. I remember at the beginning he would buy roses for me in this festival
As time goes by, we become less romantic and we are more practical. Why we have to spend extra money in this festival? We can use the money in a better way. If you ask me which gift I don't want, then perhaps the flowers. Flowers are usually very expensive in this festival. And they will fade away soon.

I don't have a husband so my Valentine's usually consist of handmade cards from my grandkids and lots of hugs and kisses.

It's a good thing everyone doesn't like the same things!

- but over the years I have received perfumes, chocolates and stuffed animals.
