I'm reheating the beans I made yesterday, they're on the stove on a low setting and now I just need to add a couple eggs. We had our dog for 16 years and we never knew all those things were supposedly bad for her. She pretty much ate all the things we did and was healthy all her life.

So did my first 2 dogs but since they are carnivores I try to give mine meats and eggs. At least I can eat my food without feeling guilty for not sharing

I knew that when we had dogs. One ate an entire large Hershey Bar, but was fine, thank goodness.

At least you won't have to smell the farts that the beans would have caused Ally to have. Of course, the eggs might be just as bad about making her fart.

I knew about some of those as was garlic which is what really surprised me. Did you know that chewing gum is illegal in some countries because it is toxic to birds?

Yeah, I was surprised too when I first read about it a few years ago @pgntwo I've never chewed gum but it's that sweeter in it or something that was killing their birds.

@rebelann We used to add garlic extract to the dog's food when I was a child, to control fleas and ticks. Who'd'a thunk it?

I did not know about the birds and gum... although I know chewing gum is outlawed in Singapore.
