I plan to earn at least $10 a month with my online gigs and I think it's possible with myLot and Speechpad combined. In 10 months I have 100 dollars. My problem is if my money will be safe in Paypal. I usually withdraw at 30 dollars. It's my first time to save it up to bigger amount before I withdraw. Do you think Paypal will be a safe wallet for a long time up to 10 months? Will I not lose my money?

I've been using PayPal for years and so far, I haven't lose any money. I feel secure using PayPal. However I don't intend to save lots of money in it. There's no interest adding up in PayPal, unlike in normal bank. If you leave $5 in it, you will still have $5 even after years.

I think it is safe in paypal. It is a secure site. if you have worries, you can just transfer it into your bank account.

@averygirl72 Sure, it is more practical to wait for that amount so no more deductions when you withdraw.

as others have said, yes, it's safe to keep it in paypal. just want to add, though, that when you transfer the money to your bank, there is still a 50 peso deduction whether it's 30 or 100 dollars.

@averygirl72 ah, so you're aware about the minimum of 7K to avoid the 50 pesos deduction. you also have to watch out for the annual fee of 350 pesos. it's automatically deducted before or after the date when you opened your account.

I've never had a problem leaving money in my PayPal account. However, I've never left money there for as long as you're thinking of doing so, simply because I usually need the money. If I didn't need the money, I'm not sure I'd leave it there that long, but that's just me.
As much as I can say that it'll probably be okay for you to keep your money there that long, at the end of the day, the ultimate decision is down to you.

I have left my online ernings in Paypal for a long long time and had no problems with them at all. O leave them there when the dollar to euro exchange rate is bad abd then when it picks up I use them.

@averygirl72 First of all best wishes for you to earn $10 per month. It will be safe in Paypal. But we(Indians) are not allowed to keep the money more than one week in paypal. So the money will be automatically transferred to my Bank account. Not familiar with Speechpad.

I'm sure it would be safe but when my money reaches a certain amount I transfer it to a bank account.

After reading your post, I did a quick search about speechpad and learn that it's connected with Mturk which is for US residence only. Have they change policy and are now accepting foreign members, specifically people from the Philippines? How is your experience so far with speechpad?

Yes it's connected with Mturk but recently they not only post on Mturk but also post now on their very own site. Jobs there are few but once a week I'm lucky to find clear audios I can transcribe this January I just made 4 dollars . They accept people from Philippines. I earned 70 dollars there last year but now the site has fewer jobs.

@josie_ No they don't that's what I like with Speechpad even if I get a low rating of 85% they will not deduct anything. I will earn what that work is worth

@averygirl72 _I hope your earning opportunity improves. Do they impose penalties and deduct from your earnings if you make a mistake like in Humanatics?
