My Deepesest Apologizes For My Mispelings!

You see English is my second language unlike people in the Department of Edication of the U.S.A. now headed by Ms. Dubious. If people in the Department of Education of the United States of America and the good Prez Trump mispell, then it is not unpresidented or in other word unusual for people like me to mispel some if not most English words. Most philippinos, whose first language is Pilipino or Tagalog, are so conscious of correct spelling and grammar of the English language that one who makes spelling mistakes or grammarical error is mocked so severely that makes him/her of thinking of suicide. Thank heavens, no one committed suicide yet due to misspelling and grammatical error. Why?! It is because most Filipino politicians are so corrupt and not one of them committed suicide because of shame; so why should we, mispellers? No way! Anyway, anyhow, fellow English-second-language myLoters let us keep on writing and twerking . . I mean tweeting. Let us not worry about our mispelings and wrong grammar. Prezident Trump would not ban us from going to Las Vegas for misspelling. He is not that crazy (yet). Have a wonderpul day! Note: This post is written with humor! Please don't take it seriously.

Hilarious though I do shudder to think on the concept of role models. Trump is a sadness in all ways.

@sallyup It does not bother me at all if Prez Doonie misspells . . . what bothers me most is if he erroneously pushes the red button to let loose all those rockets with nuclear warheads! OMG!

It was funny, as was the info put out by the Dept of Education misspelling the name of a man they were quoting. This new administration is a barrel of (dangerous) laughs.

Names and addresses on legal documents should be spelt correctly. With the auto spellchecks, there is no excuse for wrong spelling. Smiley! ??

Big time! He misspelled "tap", typing "tapp" in his tweet the other day and a few days before that it took him three attempts to get "hereby" right. First it was "hear by"...lol!

LOL!!!! Spelling and grammar issues don't bother me from myLotters whose English is not their first language. However, having an egotistical, megalomaniac, and moronic Prez run my country has me very worried.

. . . O, actually, I dreamt that this president of yours will be the best president of the USA . Better than the late Kennedy. O, they have one thing in common though. . . By the way, during the campaign he was assuring his fans/followers that if ever elected president of the USA, he would surround himself with the smartest advisers, secretaries, et al . . but it is clearly the opposite.

yes indeed, we should not take your discussion seriously, kabsat, but do you know? when i check on the sample nurses' notes of my students, i pay special attention to their grammar and spelling because i tell them they should be well adept to the English language should they work abroad like in USA, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and UK. i am not so good in spelling, but i try to be close to better than good speller of English words.

I agree with you, we Filipinos always make sure we do not commit spelling mistakes, or else we will be "doomed." So we always use the dictionary/spelling checker to be sure.

@GegeTheMechanic - - Pilipino is my first language . . . English is my second language though it is actually the official language of the Philippines. Filipinos are obsessed of the English language that one who makes misspelling or grammatical error is being mocked severely. I moved to Canada 25 years ago, where misspelling and grammatical error are not a big deal.

I pretty much have no excuse as I was born here . . . but actually English was not my first language (it was Japanese). I actually did very well with spelling at school . . . but now there is no teacher and classroom situation to stress over, so I've let a lot of things slide . I cringe about that Ms. Dubious . . . I worry about the kids education now - a lot.

@PatZAnthony Carelessness is one of the reasons. I don't believe people in the USA's Department of Education don't know how to spell the word apologies. Mr. Trump for sure knows that unprecedented is not spelled unpresidented . . they are just being careless . . like me.

@Beatburn hehehe . . Good then! There are, however, people here who seem to have no sense of humor. . . By the way, the spelling of your word humour is English English, mine (humor) is American-Canadian English. Both of them are correct. O, I guess you don't want to use the American English word because you also hate that lil-hand Trump.
