Today, the Empire State Building will be lit honoring Valentine´s Day.
I heard in the news a couple of days ago that the building ownership had changed the traditional bulbs for LED bulbs some time ago.
Now, reading online, ot said that it had been done in 2012. I am going to keep on reading as they also said in the news that LED bulbs had meant a lot of savings in energy.
Are you changing your normal bulbs for LED ones?

We cannot easily buy the old ones here either. They don´t have them at the supermarkets, but you can get them sometimes in small stores.

I have discovered that when I want to change a bulb, the old one lasts forever.

I've gradually changed my light bulbs in the house to LED. It's great as they are brighter though with a much lesser wattage.
