Getting a few people sending me messages on Mylot's private messaging inviting me to do them business favours such as reviewing their books and buying whatever trash thy are selling. Such unsolicited requests will in future be treated as spam and forwarded to admin accordingly.

Would you mind reviewing my discussions while you're at it?

@amadeo I am flattered to be chosen though it is possible they asked others too and it isn't someone I recall posting on the public pages much at all

@JudyEv certainly an excuse to send out an e-mail attachment which could of course contain anything

Wow, Yes I have a business and sell on and offline, but I would never do this unless I knew someone personally was asking for one of my links. This within itself is poor marketing and if it is a Business or website to earn extra money that is just plain tacky for sure.

I get those as responses to my discussions sometimes. I just hover my cursor over them and move on.

That's awful. Thankfully it hasn't happened to me yet, though I've had private messages at a couple of sites lately asking me to like someone's profile on another site. As I don't belong to the site in question it was easy for me to say no, but I wouldn't have been too happy to do it anyway. I'm not in the business of trading likes just to earn a little quicker.

Huh, I'd never even considered that as a possibility. I'm guessing it must be newer people that don't realize this is a no-no and a no-brainer.

I guess they ask for book reviews because you come across as one of the most literary people on here but I bet they're not offering anything for your time. I can't comment about the goods you are offered because you don't say what they are - and maybe you'd prefer not to...

Better than being offered certain medications that allegedly enhance one's virility...
