There are no words to describe my day, yesterday, nor time for me to MyLot.
My husband took me, once again, to Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida, to go shopping. He was a trooper and never once complained, unless he didn't care for an outfit I tried on. I trust his opinion. I bought dresses and tops galore.
After that, I bought 3 pairs of sneakers and sandals. It may not seem like many, but they were all Chanel.
We shopped along the avenue, had lunch, and looked at handbags. I decided to wait to the end of the month when the new designs arrive at my favorite shop.
To top off my day, my husband treated me to the best spa treatment I've ever had in my life! So what if it cost $1500? Mrs. Trump goes to the same place in New York, so it must be good. Lol! My husband had a facial. Our skin never looked so good, so we bought a small trunk of all the masques, cleansers, lotions and potions they sell. We will return for another treatment or two before we return home.
I'm so happy we went yesterday. The Donald is going to grace us, yet again, with his presence until Monday, and our route takes us by Mar-a-Lago. That road is a nightmare when he comes to town.
That was my day. I love days like that! Now to play catchup.

@DianneN , oh my, where do I begin! Not that I can afford them, but, Pierre Cardin, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Valentino for evening dresses...I can just drool and sigh.....I do have a pair of Pierre Cardin shoes in my favourite colour, blue, that I treasure :) XOX

@bluesa I didn't realize you love Chanel, too. I've been collecting clothes, shoes, bags, and jewelry for years and years. I will never part with them. They never go out of style. I've worn out a few handbags and a few pairs of shoes, but the clothes last forever. Who else do you like? XOX

@infatuatedbby Good question. My hubby asked the same thing. I will wear them here and then ship them back to CT. Of course, I will need more clothes again at both places. He knows that I hate to be seen in the same outfit more than once. It's a big joke at my former school. But I try not to wear the same things when I go out with my friends, except my walking clothes.

The spa treatment was the best I've ever had. The shopping was awesome, too. They opened a fitting room for me, scurried around looking for what I wanted, took away each item I held and put it in the fitting room, and offered to get me other sizes, etc. They plied both of us with cold bottled water. The help in the shoe department was the same. It is always a pleasure shopping there and at stores like it.

@DianneN Well I'm in no rush at all for the kids to grow up! I'm happy still having some younguns!
We have a 3 day weekend so that's exciting!

Wow, that was quite a day! I went shopping for food today and bought some oranges from Florida and also strawberries from Florida. I'm looking forward to eating them. My groceries cost me about $45 and yesterday I got a free exercise program thanks to mother nature (I shovelled snow for an hour). lol

i imagine you looking so lovely with those sneakers, my dear. and with a name like Chanel, i think those sneakers will walk a famous street. . Chanel sandals here are worn in special occasions i think, like wddings.

I have dressy Chanel shoes, but the ones I bought are casual. They are so cute to wear with sundresses, pants, or shorts. Life in Florida is very casual, unless we eat in a fancy restaurant or go shopping. Lol! Nice to hear that you know Chanel.

Wooww, The spa would be an experience.. But I have many things that make me happy, good friends and food every day - Most of my clothes are either from second hand shops or gifts from friends - it is more personal that way - and The Secret to happiness is that our Father is looking after me, and many others who are supporting the King that will soon end all suffering and make the earth to a wonderful Paradise.. Holy Cow! I would love just to go to get a massage, but the cost of $90 for an hour is too pricey for me. I'll have to get one of those hand held back beaters. LOL.

Yes, They started several years ago. I have one pair that I bought and wear a lot. They are so comfy. Prada and Dior are also doing them. My husband only allowed me one pair, but check out the white Dior sneakers if you get a chance. They are so cute!
