I have never really been a person to like taking prescriptions unless it is really necessary. Now I know there are medicines that are very necessary to take, but if I can take care of the situation I will.
I was diagnosed with high blood pressure in 1999. Since then the doctors have changed my medication about four times
. Because of my living situation, salt added to so many foods in the grocery store as well as salt being in foods naturally it is hard for me to maintain that naturally.
Since I was in my early twenties I have been diagnosed in several different places in my body Arthritis. I was never prescribed any medication for it..... thank God!
because a friend had moved away so I had little contact with her. Then I found out from her son that she had been diagnosed with Arthritis and was prescribed a medicine that caused her to age 30 years within 1 year of taken the med!!!!!
She died from natural causes of an 83 year old woman at the age of 53!
I have also been diagnosed with foot issues and Fibromyalgia with a lot of it's symptoms. The doctors prescribed me prescription meds that either did not work or caused too many side affects
. I told these doctors that I would prefer to use more natural methods and they agreed and told me things that I could do. And a lot of them help.
My late husband had a disinagrating disk in his back, when he went to the doctor to prepare for surgery for this he found out that he had Hep C and Liver Cancer.
So the doctors refused to do the surgery on his back and instead gave him painkiller prescriptions which caused him to have bad issues where he needed to use more and more everyday.
There was a time when he used a natural method and he was fine that day and did not need to take the painkillers at all that day.
However that method was not accesible to him at all times and he continued taking the pills the next day. he also ended up with pancreatitus which cause internal bleeding and his organs began to fail. When he passed away the causes of death were in order, Sepsis, GI bleeding and Liver cancer.
Have you noticed the medical commercial's on TV ? The side affects are worse then the actual aillment that a person is taking the meds for.
Don't get me wrong, there are medicines that are needed for certain medical issues, but.........

I take four medications. I have severe depression with panic attacks. A medication was found for my anxiety but none helped my depression. I even took the DNA testing. Yes, the side effects are horrid on some medications. It is smart to discuss these things with your doctor and be sure do read up on your medication. I take one for anxiety, one for thyroid, one for high cholesterol and one for lack of sun. Vitamin D3. I used to be a naturalist but have learned with a bi-polar daughter and an ODD grandson that there is reason for medications. That they do help. They have been great in my situations.

Oh sure like I said meds are needed for some things. It is all touch and go, you basically have to experiment to see what works best with you. I too take Vitamin D, I am deficient. I have lack of sun here during the winter. That is good that the meds are helping you.
