Starting this week I will not wash my clothes anymore. I will let our laundry woman wash my clothes. I need to rest from my chest pain plus I feel lazy now to wash my clothes. I will spend more time here in mylot if I will not wash and also attend to my print business. I wash clothes every Monday. I think this is a good idea. Yes I don't want washing clothes anymore. I will be free. Anyway I just have few clothes after a week our laundry woman can take care of that. Do you still wash your own clothes?

@averygirl72 my father was old fashioned, I was trained and taught that the men should be the one to earn to make a living and to provide, while the women should do the house chores. Do not get me wrong, this was Filipino male mentality I think up to the early 70's. I do the plumbing, electrical, carpentry, house maintenance etc...while my wife, daughter, and mother does the cooking, dish washing, laundry, most of the cleaning although I also cook and do cleaning, yes I wash the car

@louievill Yeah that's what my father do too. He never bothers himself with washing clothes. He just wears them and he has clean clothes if he needs them

Never as in never? Good for you there's always someone who do the laundry for you. You have never tried at least once? Who wash your clothes now?

I do but we have a washing machine so it is no problem for me. I have a load on now as it happens. If you are having chest pains it is good that you are going to leave yours to the laundry lady.

Why do you have to wash your clothes, when you already have a laundrywoman? We also have a laundrywoman and she uses the washing machine. But she washes our blouses with hands because they are delicate.

@averygirl72 You are a good girl. Your laundrywoman is happy because she has lesser clothes to wash. But now, no more.

@SIMPLYD Seriously I enjoy washing clothes. I'm feel happy after I finish. I see all clothes are fresh and clean. But now I don't enjoy it anymore. It's tiring job. Thank God we have a budget for a laundry woman

I want to be busy and I used to love doing laundry it's exercise for me so even if we have weekly laundrywoman I don't include my clothes. Starting today I don't want to do washing clothes anymore I'm tired of it.

@averygirl72 Yes, I have a washing machine and dryer here in Florida and at my home up north. Some clothes are dry clean only, some are for cold water, hang to dry, others are for cold wash, low temperature dry, etc. It gets crazy! I don't want to ruin anything.

We wash our clothes using a washing machine. A girl comes every Tuesday to do the ironing and cleaning of our bathrooms. We bring, however, our towels, bed sheets and curtains to the laundry shop for washing as they would be too heavy for our washing machine.
