Library: Do you still go there?

We live in a highly technological world nowadays, and the old interests are being reformulated and consequently, old habits are being modified or replaced.
Reading on paper is one of that old habits, with the digitial arrival the libraries seem to be getting more abandoned in some places and this is really a shame.
I go regularly to libraries because I consider it a place that conveys a very good feeling while I'm reading (technology still can't do this).

@Marilynda1225 Now that you mention Kindle, I discovered it is an app on my phone. I normally do not do anything on my phone in the way of apps, but I am curious what could be downloaded and read. How was adjusting to reading on a screen?

I also like the feel of a book but I do have many books downloaded on my Kindle which the library here doesn't have so I have the best of the reading world

Yes I do, but it mostly to use the free internet there. Ocassionally I will exchange books there as well, or go to meetings.

@Marty1 i probably don't have the time for a book club but I will check out what they do offer, I just go in, grab a couple of books and leave.

I go a lot to the library. I sign out books, movies and magazines. And I have signed out walking poles and snowshoes, and children's games. I use their wifi and I use their computers. I belong to a knitting group there. I have attended all sortss of other events there.
And if I wanted I could sign out ebooks. And I could sign out movies digitally

Yes I still frequent the library and not only do I enjoy getting books but they offer some wonderful opportunities for my grandchildren

I don't go to our library very often but there are less and less books and more and more DVDs and stuff.

I regularly visit the my kids's school library. I wish I could have access to a university library as well, but the ones nearby are strictly regulated.
