It's like gambling for free - survey to win contests on receipts

Do you take the surveys on the bottom of receipts that come with a chance to win?
It's sort of like getting to gamble for free. And it seems like so many places are doing them now. I know I just did 2 - one from Walmart and one from Dollar Tree. I think the prize if you are so lucky is $1,000 but I forget if it's in gift cards or in cash. Just imagine the fun you could have at Dollar tree where everything is a dollar or less - with $1,000 gift card.
Other places do these too - restaurants usually give a free food item.
Like I learned in business classes - feedback is valuable to companies but only if given honestly. If you have something that could be done better or products , ideas or praise - feel welcome to share with the business of your choosing, you never know how influential your opinion is.

Andrea from Brockton is curious. She wrote, "I have gone to Home Depot and Lowe’s and the receipt says take a survey and win money. Does anybody win?”

I've tried them but have been as successful with them as I have been here getting replies from beautiful American women.

@FayeHazel Hallelujah! There is a god.
I was hoping going for the sympathy vote would work, and it did. Phew.
I was talking about you, so for me it's 3/3.
Meatloaf can keep his song for another time.
I just hope now that this isn't just a one off.

I just do not have the patience to take part in surveys although I did register here and there.

We have never met anyone that won a survey like these. We do some just in case! Will look at the video and see if I can decide if we should continue or we are wasting time.
