{Or, Out of the Mouths of Babes.} Toddler Niece calmly walked over to me, patted my bum, and declared, Big bottom! before giggling and scampering away. I know it wasn't meant in a cruel way. I happened to be bending over, trying to sort something out, and I probably {hopefully} was simply mistaken for Mother Hubbard. In Each Peach Pear Plum Mother Hubbard has a very big bottom and we do always comment on it. However, truer words have never been spoken {well, they have} ... my bottom is ginormous at the moment. I need to stop eating {but food tastes so goooood!} and start losing weight again. Once upon a time I was as big as a house {not literally, but nearly} and I lost oodles of poundage. Can you even begin to imagine the shame, humiliation and embarrassment if I put that weight on again? I'm considering a spot of yoga, but not in public, I really will go cold turkey with bread, and I think I shall give up chocolate. For Lent, or just for March, or something. Why is it so frustratingly easy to just let the pounds creep back on?! *sigh*

Oh my goodness, little niece said something so horrible. Do not worry you will not put on a lot of pounds.

@Poppylicious Some weight it's not a big problem, as soon as Spring comes, you can walk a little more and they will go.

Oh, my! That must have been awkward. I'm dealing with similar stuff. I'm trying to eat fewer starchy carby things and more vegetables instead. The starchy carby things are really tempting, but I need to remember that they make me feel worse in the long run.

Not too awkward ... she has only just turned two. I think everybody has a big bottom! I'm having a hard time trying to work out which food agrees with me and which doesn't. I do know that I need to eat more vegetables though!

You do not keep on doing whatever it was that was successful. At least that is what happens with me. I am losing and have been, because of my job being very active. However, it is a school job and we will be out for about ten weeks. . . hello poundage. It just sneaks right up on you.

I have become a bit complacent. I need to get back in to it but my motivation is lacking.

It really isn't fair how easy it is to gain weight but how hard it is to lose it.
