What's Not To Like?

United Kingdom
February 26, 2017 9:20pm CST
I'll tell you what's not to like! That darn like button. If I hit it once, I hit ten times before it actually changes to like. And then it can often change back to unlike, and I have to like it again. Do you feel my pain? if so, feel free to like, unlike, or not like at all. It could save a lot of frustration.

I am not the type of person to like anything. Atleast not without a complexiity of "opinion" by the like. "I might like it but..."

I don't really have a problem with the "like" button. I like how if you hold down the "like" button on Facebook, you can choose some emoji's. I recently found out how to add them within my conversation.

If I had to hit the like button ten times to get a like to reflect, I would feel your pain @Orson_Kart , I mean sheesh that would drive me bonkers. Luckily all seems to be going smoothly at present. :)

I have been blaming this old tablet I use. It has a mind of its own at times. If you see strange words appearing then you'll know it's the tablet and not me.

@bluesa Do. The tablet has a tendency to go into flirt mode which isn't like me at all. I've been meaning to get it sorted for ages now.

@Orson_Kart , I shall keep in mind that the tablet has a mind of its own, technology can be quite an imp, you know.

It's working for me. I don't like the like button because sometimes I agree but I don't like. I prefer the choices Facebook give you.

There seems to be an even split between those who like the like button and those who dislike the like button. As someone who dislikes the like button, I am wondering if I should also dislike the likers of the like button?

@Orson_Kart I'm going to stop using the like button I think.

This doesn't happen all the time but some days and some pages do seem to glitch like that and it bugs me. On Facebook it happens more often.

@shaggin I posted a song on another discussion for you to listen to. I guess you haven't. I dunno, I go out of my way to entertain you and look how you treat me. Shocking it is. Shocking.

@Orson_Kart my memory is so poor. I think I do recall what you are talking about... Was it a really odd song?

I do feel your pain as I find this site quite glitchy generally. It freezes quite a lot for me or I start to type and the comment box disappears!

Sometimes it seems to take longer to change into like. I would rather have a dislike option too for when people post something sad

Hi. (he says, trying to sound all nonchalant) Yeah, maybe I am just too impatient. I usually avoid the sad posts, but I know what you mean. We need a way of expressing empathy or sympathy without the need for words.

@Orson_Kart So true -- like Facebook now has all those other options (love, wow, sad, angry... couple others) in addition to "like". But still no dislike... lol

Never had any problem with the "like" button. What would be more frustrating is if admin decided to put a "dislike" button.

My friend above says she would like a dislike button. If it's as much trouble as the like one, I wouldn't like it either.
