No one will be very shocked to hear that jelly beans are in all the stores now. In fact, they have been since early this month. It was funny to see someone putting jelly beans on the shelves and the items are there for St. Patrick's Day at there at the same time. We don't buy jelly beans, but heard someone joking about those particular jelly beans being from Mexico, not the USA, because that is the only place where jelly bean trees grow now.

They should all be green jelly beans if they're sold for St. Patrick's Day. The nerve of those Mexican trees!

Guessing they are for Easter, just that the vendors are in a hurry to get these on the shelves.

I have seen Easter candies and chocolates already on the shelves, it's a bit too early, even if we do not celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

@PatZAnthony I am almost glad that they had plenty of leftovers for Christmas. People are tired to see the holidays items on the shelves too early.

Depending on the brand, there are good and bad. Some anymore just do not have much flavor and always way too sweet. My husband and I prefer Jelly Belly that you can get all yr round instead.

@Lupita234 Well, our favorite is Jelly Belly. Brach is good. Sometimes just too sweet. Unless it is the spiced ones.

We like the more expensive ones made by Russell Stover when we can find those. The other ones just don't seem to be worth chewing!

@PatZAnthony no, those cheap ones are just like eating a colored sugar cube! yuck

Jelly bean trees. Most interesting. No, not shocked to know they are in the stores. I've seen the St. Patrick day items on the shelves and racks for at least a month.

The stores here are just too quick to put things out, but we know they don't have room to keep stock in the back!

@PatZAnthony No they don't, and they want to get it in people's faces as soon as possible as well and get them thinking about the next season. As soon as Easter is over it will be he 4th of July.

@BelleStarr The tour we took was for Russell Stover. They do not make Jelly Belly brand, but their own brand. We think it might just be an outlet now, although they imply they make things at that location. Will have to call them! They would be just a few miles south of where you stay in Florida. (Wildwood)

The Jelly Bellys we get are made in Florida. Or, so we were told at the factory we visited. Think they would misinform us?
