An unusual bet: Don't touch the smartphone!

Some friends and I went out to dinner and considering that we all have a certain addiction to using the cell phone, we decided to challenge ourselves with a "different" bet: we put our smartphones (with the sound on) on the table Next to each other) and throughout the night, no one could pick up the cell phone. Anyone who picks up the smartphone - be there for whatever reason - would be eliminated. By the end of the night, those who resisted and managed to stay without using the smartphone wouldn't pay their own bills. The results? At the end of the night, 3 of the 11 friends end up resisting (and I was one of them).

It would be easy for me too. I would never pick my phone up if I were with friends having dinner!

I think that it is extremely rude to dine out with friends and to reply to the phone.

@garymarsh6 This is what I think, but my niece has learned to leave the smartphone in her handbag when she eats with us.

For me it would not be a problem, I do not even take my phone when I go out for dinner and I ask my friend to forget they have a phone or I get up and go.

It's like that one I saw one FB. A bunch on guys went out for a drink. It's look like a party in that image with all the food and drink. They put all their phones on the table. The one that his wife called first got to pay the bills. At least your method was nicer
