I am a huge fan of Ron Howard, who played Opie on The Andy Griffith Show, so many years ago. He does roles on television shows today and it was really exciting to see him on television tonight. I would have dropped the phone or been unable to speak.
He was on This Is Us and called Kevin, who thought it was somebody else. It was wonderful in a very sad episode to hear good news. Have you seen Ron Howard on any television shows?

I liked Happy Days, as the Fonz Henry Winkler is wonderful also. I liked the casting and to see their success over the years.

@Fishmomma Oh, I just thought of The Courtship of Eddie's Father! That was my mom's favorite movie, and Ron Howard was adorable in it.

Glad to find a watcher of This Is Us. The ratings were really high and its excellent news to see the show win the night for ratings. I was glad to see Ron Howard on it.

Howard has a long acting history. After Opie, he was famously Richie Cunningham on Happy Days. He was in movies such as The Music Man.

He did several roles before The Andy Griffith Show and I will have to see Dennis the Menace again, as was on 6 episodes. Also did a movie and several other shows. Its amazing to start as a child and do so much in the entertainment business. We hear so much about how people shouldn't start as a child and I can name many people that are still in the business.

@Fishmomma His brother Clint is also an actor who did Gentle Ben TV series and his daughter Bryce Dallas Howard currently stars in movies.
