Women's Day 2017

With a few hours left to spare, I bring you my thoughts on Women's Day! Of course this at the risk of annoying fellow My Lotter Escapes Reality, whose @ name I forget at the moment. Escapes is tired of all the women's day posts - and while this does add to them - it is also only my two cents.
In addition to remembering women who changed history, efforts to make life for women everywhere better, and the struggles unique to women, I also hope that women remember to help other women. So often women fight each other... life is not a competition.
That said I feel there should be a men's day as well.

This looks like a for women only discussion, but I am here anyway to defends us mens rights to fight against discrimination and post when and where we want, 
This International Womens Day isn't made much of here in the UK, we had The Budget instead where the government do their best to increase discrimination between the rich and poor. It's a disgrace!
I am not bothered about an International Mens Day. I don't know many International Men.

@FayeHazel Yeah, you would think there would be some sort of incentive to join in.
As for International Men of Mystery, I can think of only Austin Powers, and possibly (in your eyes) ME! ;-)

Oh all are welcome here. :-) Not much actually happened here either - looks like most of the hype was online. (I know 'cause I looked for coupon specials or other deals, ha ha. ) It's too bad, there really does seem to be a war on the poor and middle classes. But, do you know of any international men of mystery? ;-)
