On Mylot I earn when someone responds to my discussions or comments back on my responses or comments. What if someone responds to my posts or comments back to me only with a smile or smilies? Would I earn then?

I think we are earning from the likes and responses. However, I have no idea how exactly it works. I noticed when I am interacted with more people then my earnings raise quickly.

Any interactions we receive would be our earning, including Likes and smilies...

it's still an interaction, but technically we aren't supposed to just respond with that, although I forget and do so now and then

@Jessicalynnt Yes, you are absolutely right. Here we are expected to speak,to talk....to use words.Smilies can be used to make our interaction vivid.Using smilies only and no words may not help us earn.I'm not sure though.

@Jessicalynnt No,it's not deleted. So far it has received 18 responses and comments. My are still pouring in.I use smilies, but not always.Sometimes I forget to use them. You're right, smilies are body language. We use them to convey our emotions more forcefully. However I sometimes get confused as to which smile (face) I should use to demonstrous my emotions.

@else34 oh if it doesn't get deleted I think you earn from it, but you would have no way to respond to it, so that conversation would end, thus no longer earning more. The point is to get to taking, and have something there to encourage the other person to respond too. I like that we can ADD those faces, to help convey emotion though, that can be hard, since we cannot hear each other or see body language, you know?

@else34 I notice you use '&' when mentioning members on here... In order for them to be notified of your mentioning, you need to use '@' instead...

&amitkokiladitya Same here.LOL!! But smilies are also a former of comment.A silent expression. You laugh, appreciate, express fear etc etc.and show all your emotions without uttering a single word.

I think if a person replied with a smile in all discussions and never typed words there account will likely be deleted.

I think it is ok to do it sometimes when the discussion requires a smile for example. Do you think they would have their accound deleted if they did it very often? Or maybe they would get a warning first?

@besweet I don't think anybody always uses smilieso only to interact, but I have no idea as to what will happen if they do so.

I think, the smiley or mylot code responses don't add up to our earnings.

But they do as they count as interactions that we receive on our posts of discussions/responses/comments.

Interesting! Maybe MyLot runs any kind of quality "whatever" to assure this doesn't become a smilies chat? I think I read something about this somewhere... Sorry, not a very informative comment! I'll check this later, anyway. But what you all have commented below makes sense. Even a smiley is interaction.

@else34 , sure, I agree with you, and I must say smilies are just a fast way to express a feeling. I could use this: , just to tell you"I agree with you", isn't it?
