They circle around you and try to interact with you at all times. So much love, I swear!
It gets annoying at times but had to admire their tenacity and persistence. They never give up!
*hears footsteps approaching" "sound of something being plugged in" "sound of switch being turned on*
I am shell shocked to see all of my followers flying away.
Stupid mosquito repellant!

P.S. So, bidding adieu to winters and welcoming the Spring with the festival of Colours, Holi. The little buggers, otherwise named as mosquitoes, are buzzing around now.
How is your relationship with them fairing?

@JudyEv Lucky You! I was squirming around in my bed the whole night. Finally, I went and switched on the ceiling fan full throttle to get those buggers away.

@Daljinder I hadn't thought of doing that but I guess it would drive them away.

There are no mosquitoes in the place where I live. Last time I had to do an excavation in a swamp full of mosquitoes, I bought a natural repellant made with extracts of geranium and juniper, two plants where a mosquito worth this name would not land, even the tough ones with hair in the ears

@Daljinder You have probably seen geraniums, it is a common flower in gardens here. It does not smell that good but it is efficient against mosquitoes.

@topffer Never heard of those plants. I will have to look those up to see if they are available here. We generally use liquid mosquito repellant.

@Daljinder Yes exactly and I have learnt that it is scientifically proven that those with my blood groups are the ones preferred by mosquitoes, my group is zero negative.

@LadyDuck Oh so you are one of those. The one with the "sweeter" blood that those mosquitoes won't leave alone.

@VivaLaDani13 OH that's surprising. Until now I have seen very few among the people have met and known to not know their blood group. Welcome to the unknown club!

@VivaLaDani13 Oh so you are another one of "those" people with sweet blood that mosquitoes love.
