Why they unfollow me on Twitter?

I am surprised to see that I am unfollowed by lots of new followers who follow me and then next day they suddenly disappear and when I check their profile I see it's not only me but they unfollowed all in their list. Is there any special reason for that or they playing some kind of "Follow- Un-Follow" game. Any idea guys!

Hi Suny....
If they are still newer members, they may have just learned there is a way to un-follow somebody here, as well as clear out their list of followers, too. (I do that every once in a while. When my follower's list gets too unwieldy, I go through it, dropping off everyone I have never interacted with on this site. I figure it like this, if they don't even bother introducing themselves to me, why should I lug them around with me?)
I think it is pretty presumptuous of them to follow me but never even check out anything I've written on myLot.
I don't KNOW if that is what you've been seeing or not, but it might be part of the explanation!
BTW, when you used to be here, I followed you. I just had to follow you again. Why did you drop me from your list? (I'm teasing at you! If there was a reason for you to drop me and I have forgotten it, you can drop me again and I will not follow you, again.
Thanks, Suny!

@DaddyEvil It wasn't you only but I have unfollowed almost all because I had no intention to come back on this site and you know that.
As far Twitter followers I follow everyone that follows me whether we mutual interests or not but there certain members with large following they play follow/unfollow game. They suddenly unfollow all their followers to increase their telly allover again.

@DaddyEvil I'm not too bothered about followers at myLot. When I have time to spend here I read what interests me and comment if I have something to say. It may not be the best way to make money, but I feel more honest that way. I do understand your feelings about people who follow us without reading anything we write though. That seems to happen to me all the time at Niume (where I'm currently inactive), because my list of followers is growing but I hardly ever register a new view.

@Gina145

I would never drop you as a follower, Gina! Even if you had never read anything I wrote, I have fun interacting with you whenever our paths cross, no matter whose thread that happens to be on. (I don't drop anyone I interact with on any threads on myLot... whether that person has ever read my threads or not. I stated what I was saying to Suny rather badly, I suppose.)
I had not planned on writing any more threads. Then got stuck in Walmart's Photo Lab during a tornado, so the only thing I could do was post a discussion about it. SMH!

@suni51 I didn't know that app existed. I just tried it on both my Twitter accounts and it didn't find anyone who'd unfollowed me in the last 30 days. I guess what I post isn't interesting enough to attract the kind of people who hope I'll follow them back.

Some people on Twitter seem to expect an immediate follow-back or they move on to someone else. It may be that they are up to the maximum they can follow (10% ahead of the number following them).

What's your "theme" on your Twitter? What topics do you mostly tweet? I don't use Twitter.
