This afternoon a new friend treated me to a ride to a local restaurant of my choice and to lunch. I chose to go to Hooters restaurant where we talked and ate. I got Crabs Legs! which I have not had in a while. I am glad that they had them on the menu. Last night I was watching TV and kept seeing a Red Lobster commercial showing crab legs that made me hungry for them. I ate half my plate and brought the rest home (pic) I am thankful to my friend for treating me today.

That Red Lobster commercial drives me crazy. Last time we were there we had this lobster bisque soup that was so good. I am trying to make enough online by next November to take the three of us there for during for the holidays.

I wish I could because Red Lobster is my favorite restaurant and I have not been there since 2005 when we got my late husbands social security check, we only had enough money left to go dinner. Before that it was in 1999 for our second anniversary.

@celticeagle I mean that I have other things to do. I do not have a husband to pay rent, utilities, etc. I have got to find a way so I can get a place to live, start all over getting household items, clothes and my meds and other medical things that I cannot have here,

@Happy2BeMe It is really good. They have good food and service. It is like a sports bar with several TV's and a patio with some too. Today I counted 20 TV's inside and 4 outside.

That's so nice! I like seafood and I also like crabs. Although it is difficult to eat it, but it is really so fresh.

My favorite seafood is lobster and I also like crabs and shrimp. Scallops are good too!

@dfollin Lobster is great but it is also expensive. I just tried it when I had a travel in Thailand. At least it was less expensive there

We seldom get to eat crabs too. So, one time when I visited my parents , my nephew came from an island and he brought very big crabs . He cooked it and gave me one to eat. Oh wow, I ate it with so much relish and I also ate lots of rice. ha ha ha

That was kind of your friend. I've had crab in a dish but I don't think I've ever had crabs' legs.

@JudyEv It was weird because after I brought them home, had them in the fridge and heated them up in the microwave they were pretty easy to open by hand, but I still needed one of those little picker tools.

They actually closed the only Hooters here in Utah (right down the street from my old high school ironically) due to lack of business. It's been open 20 years
