This baking bread photo really made me laugh. But actually I shall not laugh at it since baking bread is also a challenge for me. I may even make it worse I prefer to make a pizza or cake as it is easier.

Do not worry, if the taste is good, this is what counts.

Sometimes mine turns out perfect - and other times a disaster. I am not consistent.

I love making bread myself but it takes a long time! I haven't made bread in a while I think that might be what I do today but not the tortured soul kind today!

It looks cute and nice! I do not know about the taste though. I think when you decorate it a bit more, you can see as Halloween bread!

Poor little buns ! I have not tried to make bread in a long time . . . everyone says getting a bread maker is the best way . . . but there is pride in making your own perfect bread from the oven (though I have not exactly achieved that yet). I made these teddy beard breads for Christmas one year when I was teen . . . they came out TOO hard - not edible - so I ended up giving it to my dogs .

In fact I have a bread machine at home but most of the time I use it to make the dough. I still like to take out the dough and then bake it by the oven. I think the result will be better.

@much2say The bread machine can make the bread. If you are not that picky, it is OK. But I like better bread and this is why I like to bake it by myself. Unfortunately I am not very good at it yet. Bread machine is still useful. I always use it to make the dough.

Same here, baking bread is quite a challenge for me - no matter how precise I follow the instruction, they just don't turn out as nice as they should...

I am not laughing. Uhm, no. I tried hard, really, not to laugh, but failed. Lol. Anyways, good effort though. Maybe next time you could just put raisins to make it less scary.

It looks like your main problem was too much cheese as a stuffing.I don't do a lot of filled breads - usually only thing I make with filling is calzone. I write a series on bread baking - The Science of Bread Baking: The Series ( This link is for the index. I only have a few covering the basics right now but will be adding more in the coming months.
