Hi MyLot!
I thought I would share with you some of my more humiliating secrets in a series of articles. lol.
So for my first post in this series I bring you my confession which is:
even though I am 35 years old I still play an online game intended for pre-teens and teens called "My Candy Love".
In "My Candy Love" you play as a highschool girl who has crushes on one or more of several of the male highschoolers. You can choose from various options as the game goes on. You are given various assignments to do , none too hard, and eventually you will dialog with your candy's friends and with your candy's crushes.
The dialogues are sort of alike a choose your own adventure book (anyone remember those?) where you can pick one of usually three options. Answer right and the boy will think more of you. Answer wrong and the boy will dislike you.
You are given chances to replay incase the first plays don't go as planned.
Well art mimics life, the first time I played through I choose things close to what I would actually say and sure enough, like all of the boys pretty much hated me. (oh look it's just like real life!) -- now I have learned my lesson and play using walk guides.
What's your guilty pleasure?
Flirting game! With My Candy Love, flirt with the guys you like and live a true love story. Discover new episodes regularly and meet the students at Sweet Amoris High School.

That is too funny. I have never seen the game but it sounds interesting. So how does it feel to be a teen again? I play games on line too but I've never seen that one...

@FayeHazel I play scrabble with my sister, a friend of my daughter, and a niece daily , We usually put up around 5 words during a day. My favorite game is The Book of Life Sugar Smash. I found that on FB...
I can't even imagine what home schooled is like. My mother was a elementary teacher who gave up teaching to be a mom but went back into it when my younger sister went to school and we all went to public school.

@PainsOnSlate I love Scrabble - my folks are good at it. Book of Life sounds interesting. :-) Homeschooled had it's advantages - electives were all things I liked and I could study at my own pace, work ahead if I wanted to... however I missed some stuff, like social interaction....

Lol, I know right? Ah mostly it makes me wonder if "normal" high school was really that awkward. (I was homeschooled) -- what are your favorite computer games?

That's a good point. I wonder if they do it so you have to "re-play" it more to get the result you want. It's weird. Normally there's 3 choices in the conversations. A nice/polite response (what I would usually pick), a sarcastic/rude response , and a response that changes the topic...
normally the answers that get the best results are the rude ones or the change the topic ones...
I don't get it. But then in real life I am generally polite and have bad luck with men.... hmmm, maybe they're on to something.

@FayeHazel I'm not sure it worth becoming sarcastic/rude just to get a man!

I read from other responses that you always give the polite answer and it's the reason why the boys 'hate' you.
I would just like to point out that there are two types of polite answers:
One is "Yes please"

and the other is - "No thank you"

Correct me if I am wrong, but I am guessing you tend towards the latter.
Am I right, or am I right?

and the other is - "No thank you"

Correct me if I am wrong, but I am guessing you tend towards the latter.
Am I right, or am I right?

Lol. When you're right, you're right. Actually more accurate - I don't pick up on any signs they might be interested... so I don't pursue them, so we don't actually get to any yes or nos lol sad but true

Then you can be rude to him! There is one character within the game that I don't like and I enjoy making him dislike my character..... lol.
