Smoothies: How do you make yours?

Smoothies are so popular and many of us do try to have a smoothie on a daily basis.
We usually have bananas, apples, berries and some fresh pineapple available to make our smoothies the way we enjoy them.
Some do prefer to just eat fruit without making a smoothie.
If you make smoothies, which fruits or vegetables do you like to include?

@AngelesF We find it easy to mix a banana, an apple and some pineapple or berries for each serving. Always delicious.

Strawberries are a popular choice here too. These always add a touch of sweetness.

We could probably live on smoothies during the hot weather. Might give it a try this year.

@TheHorse We bought ours from a flea market. These things are often unused and 1/3 the price of stores.

We like to cut up apples and bananas with berries, b/c that is what we like. Why not use what tastes good to you and go from there.
No, we don't know of such a website b/c we are food snobs and think we know best ;-)

I gave my Vitamix to a friend and I haven't had a smoothie in a long time. I might buy another one soon. I can make something similar with my juicer but not so liquidy.

Those Vitamix units are really nice. We are just using a regular blender at the moment. A bit time consuming, but most things that are important are and worth it to us.

With Vodka, I make bad jokes. Actually my sister usually just buys them because we are to lazy. We did a couple of times, but now she usually just buys them. I personally tend to go for bad things like soda if it were up to me.

We eat a lot of raw food. The smoothies help those with digestion issues or poor appetite take in nutrients.

@silvermist Sometimes we add fruit juice we have made. We also juice, so this is an option for us.

I very seldom have that much fresh fruit int he house at one time. My husband isn't into fruit and he would never drink a smoothie. I don't own a blender.

It depends where I am when I make smoothies. When I'm in my home country, I make smoothies from pineapple, jackfruit, mangoes, jackfruit, star apple, young coconut and some other tropical fruits in season. When I am in Germany, I make smoothies from kiwi, strawberry, apple and orange.
