The postcard from Cyprus has eventually arrived and even though Barry finds this to be of a conventional rectangular size, to me any old conventional postcard of Cyprus will do - I love the flavours of the Mediterranean!
For those that would like to know more:
"The Republic of Cyprus occupies the southern part of the island of Cyprus in the eastern Mediterranean. The island (and capital city Nicosia) is divided with Turkey to the north. Known for beaches, it also has a rugged interior with wine regions. Coastal Paphos is famed for its archaeological sites relating to the cult of Aphrodite, including ruins of palaces, tombs and mosaic-tiled villas."
Not only did the warmest of greetings arrive from Cyprus but also some beautiful stamps. Today my daughter has taken my postcard books to school to show the children that postcards, as well as postage, is still alive and well in the world and they need to work on their writing skills, as not to loose it!
I love that she has seen the value of my postcard books and all that comes with it to educate the learners. How neat is that!!
Thank you Barry - I thought I would take my title for this post from something out of a BOND Movie - 00Barry seems to be our traveling BOND out there - British and always on the go makes him that kind of guy! (not sure of all the ladies he might know)
Dont you think?
@Asylum - where to next? I am sure that you have recovered from the horrible illness after Cyprus by now, so we are waiting to hear what is next on the AGENDA?

I assumed that this postcard must have arrived some time ago. It must be around 7 weeks since I mailed this out from Cyprus.
Sorry about the boring rectangle, but it was the only shape that was available.
I do like the concept of using a postcard collection to give children an incentive to improve their writing.

Happy St Patrick's Day Barry - I have found you on FB so sent a request. Oh I dont worry how long it takes for a postcard to get here, it was wonderful to receive it with its beautiful stamps - Apparently the Children were totally blown away with the postcard books. My daughter has asked that she keep them for a week in the class so that every child can properly peruse through them..

Yet another place I'd love to see for real. I live vicariously through other people's travels.
