A surgeon and heart specialist, Dr. Steven Grundy, describes our body as a sort of ecosystem. The trick to long life and good health is to figure out how that ecosystem works. He came upon some monumental information, quit his job as surgeon and opened a clinic in California. He says that phytochemicals and polyphenols are the secret. Also, we need to avoid three certain foods. Soy products is the first because it has estrogen in it. It tells your body to store fat. Wheat grass is another one. It doesn't really have the high chlorophyll content that is has been advertised to have. We can't digest grass and it is really useless to us. Goji berries is the third. It doesn't really boost the immune system or do a lot of the things it is said to do. They are a member of the nightshade family and has lectins in it. These lectins can cause all kinds of problems for us include allergic reactions, skin conditions and leaky gut. So we get digestive problems and they weaken the blood vessels. Actually nuts, peppers, tomatoes and potatoes have lectins in them. You need to eat foods with polyphenols in instead. Berries and pomegranates. This is a energy booster and boosts the metabolism. The link below is to the doctor talking about these things. http://haveenergyatanyage.com/presentation/video.php?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign= 737563563&gclid=CJvi_PP12dICFZSIaQodO3wEiA

It is amazing what a little more research into things can do. Wheat Grass especially is supposed to be "the thing" for the health conscious.

@celticeagle Jumba Juice? Or something like that. I only went to that place once or twice. I have to admit that when I get anything like that (smoothies, milkshakes, etc) .. They aren't healthy.

Apart from tomatos I don´t eat eat any of those partially because they don´t sell them either. I am opting for more lettuce and something lighter of a night and eating much less Bread and biscuits.
