I'm going to do it

I am going to go through the house and shut off the furnaces.
It is ninety degrees (F) here in Kansas right now. That is around 32 (C).
That is not to say we will not have any more cold weather. Quite likely we will have snow yet. I hope not, but it snowed on Easter last year.
Too hot to have a heater on here.
How is your weather?

Fresh air coming in the doors feels really good. I do not mind ninety.

Its cold here. About 34° F. Little snow flurries the last few hours. But shouldn't do anything.

I think we had little snow flurries last Tuesday or Wednesday, early, but kids came to school in shorts.

I turned the furnace off for a little while today. It was about 45 degrees and with the sun hitting the windows it was beautiful inside. The furnace is back on for the night. Not going to get warm weather for a few days yet.

@GardenGerty I have a lady that has one of the warmest entryways in her mobile home. I tried to get her to open the main door and let the sun shine through the storm door windows, but to no avail. It was only 40 degrees outside and even though the heat from the sun shining through it was wonderful, she only saw the snow from the window.

The solar effect is awesome for warming things up.

We do not have the humidity you do, and it will not stay this warm. A fan suits me fine, hubby was outdoors working on cars.

There is something odd going on here. I have never watered full grown trees but they seem to want it as I see tender mangoes falling down and this phenomena is seen everywhere.

It's 20 c here in spain... which is very pleasant... from now on the temperature just continues to climb .... we wont be getting any snow... and the rain is doubtful too... I took my duvet cover off last week and put a much lighter blanket on....which I often have to peel off during the night...

It certainly sounds like it's time to turn the furnaces off.

it's been right around the freezing point here for days now. I haven't been out in it much but when I sit next to one of the windows, I can feel some of it coming through.

It is sad, because it often kills the blooms on fruit trees if it is that late.
