Spring has sprung. It is officially no longer Winter today, yay! The day started off quite gloomy though what really tilted my mood to the negative was another excessive bill from the council tax services. I rang them to query it having already been assured of a reduction, and after being kept on hold for an eternity, finally got told this bill was a mistake set in their computer from over a month ago and my true bill update is coming soon, and much closer to the figures I have been told I have to pay. I went out on a cold wet morning to shop, locate a building I have an interview in on Wednesday and use the library. By the time I was coming home a few hours later there was glorious sunshine worthy of the new season. Later still, the rain returned. My day ended with messages from an employer who has already rejected my applications twice asking me to ring them – I rang to be told they were not available but will ring me back. About 30 minutes later she rang back to say she had just sent the mailing to everyone on her lists, so I had received it by mistake. I really wish I didn’t have to put up with such nonsense, time wasting and red tape any more. Lovely to get a Manchester postcard from Koalemos and a very happy 100th birthday to Forces Sweetheart, Vera Lynn.
