My mother decided to make a different recipe today and she exaggerated in the dose of some ingredients. The result wasn't good (and she doesn't like to miss a recipe). My father and I said that she doesn't have to cook because we were going to order some food, but she didn't want to. She decided to cook again (another recipe). Well, let's wait. But, what would you do? Order some pizza?

If she wants to cook then I would let her cook. You just have to wait a little longer and whatever it is it will better the pizza.

It is a standing joke in our house when one or other of us says 'Dinner will be late tonight'. We often underestimate how long something will take to cook.

If food usually gets messed up or doesnt cook all the way, i normally find something else to eat in the house or just go hungry.

I think you shouldn't order the pizza. Since it seems your mom was very eager to cook, perhaps she prepared for a big feast for you. If you order other food, then it would make her feel disappointed.

I would order some pizza or something as it would get here quicker than waiting. But I hope whatever she cooked turned out better this time around.

Oh man this is my area of expertise... When in doubt, order pizza. Then tell whoever was cooking that you knew they tried really hard and you wanted to help them out. Plus now dinner is ready for tomorrow.
