A Tin-Can Plane

I've done posts lately about items recycled from various materials. There was a park bench made of bicycle parts then a little trombone player made of nuts and bolts and here we have an aeroplane made of recycled cans. It's not the best photo but hopefully you'll be able to make out the plane. I've seen a motor-bike made out of bottle-tops too, the sort of bottle-top with a ring to pull to get the top off but I don't have a photo of it.

I don't suppose it can fly.

This guy had a dozen or so strung up under a rotary clothes line so they appeared to be flying.

@allen0187 And if you wanted to make a squadron of planes, you'd need a whole lot of cans.

The motor-bikes made from bottle-tops are only small but very creative too. I can't find the one I had so I can't take a photo of it.

@teamfreak16 Maybe you could just be someone's supply chain.

I love art made from recycled trash. Love the airplane. We pass a car parts place that has a man standing at the entrance made of car parts.

People are very creative sometimes. Even teachers in kindergartens come up with some very nice stuff.

@Marty1 No, using cans wouldn't be a good idea at all but they do have some clever tricks with safer materials.

You have to be very careful to do it since it is easy to hurt your fingers. The tin sheet can be so sharp.

The thin steel they use for the cans can be very sharp indeed.

I like the plane because it can hang from the ceiling and not take up table space.

That's true. Table and other tops can get a bit cluttered sometimes.

I love those things made with simple materials that we usually discard. People can really be creative.

@JudyEv No, I imagine that creative people "see" what they can do without any particular effort.

It shouldn't be so hard to think up these things, should it?

Oh I love watching how people recycle things - I have this great photo of a tin-shack - literally speaking . The Damara's of Namibia sell their wares from these little shacks

That is incredible. Somewhere in Australia, they make canoes out of tin-cans and have races in them.

Yes its cute. At a flea market I seen the tin man from Wizard of Oz made out of recycles tin cans. I wanted it but I would not pay the price they wanted, I might make my own one day.

This reminded me of water bottle submarine I saw on this show named "Art Attack" once. They do stuff like that on that all the time.
