I just found out the oil cleansing method which I am quite interested in it. It is a natural way to clean our face, or perhaps our body too.
I just started to clean my face with only jojoba oil (as I do not have the recommended castor oil at home now), and I will see how it goes. I am currently knitting a wash cloth for this.

I just know some people like to use the oil to clean their makeup. But I haven't tried to use it to clean my face as the facial cleaner yet. I will find it weird and I am afraid it will make my face all in oil. I don't like the oily feeling

Yes, I read that it helps to remove the makeup and cleanse our face as well, so it's killing two birds with one stone, and it's much cheaper as well.
I found it weird at the beginning too. My face is always oily, but after I have applied this oil cleansing method, I find that my face is not that oily anymore even though I just use water to clean my face sometimes.

Using Witch Hazel as an astringent is good. I don't care for oily.

I like it very much. As my face is always oily and I always have pimples, I am quite tired to try out any facial products. I have tried this method for three times only in these two weeks, other than that, I only wash my face with water without any cleanser, I find my face is not as oily as previously and no pimples coming out too. So I guess I will continue to use this method, and perhaps add aloe vera to my face cleansing method soon.

do you clean your face before putting on jojoba oil? or do you wash your face afterwards? how long should the oil be on your face?

I just use water to clean my face, then I apply the jojoba oil and massage my face. After perhaps a minute or two (when I am done with massaging), then I cover my face with hot washcloth/towel, just to let the hot air steam my face. When the washcloth/towel is cold, about a minute or so, then I rinse the towel with water and wipe my face for a few times.
After wiping off, I feel my face very clean and not oily at all.

Its used a lot as a hair conditioner here but mixed with other ingredients.
I permed my hair once well the Hairdresser did and she burned it all and jojoba saved the day along with something else in it but its very good.

I had tried stomach cleansing. Boiled a pot of water with white radish, carrots and mushrooms. No need any seasoning. Drink up, you will have a couple of runs and feel that your stomach had been pumped out.
