Today’s song association is definitely a spring-like song called “Rockin’ Robin” the original by Bobby Day. It came to mind today when an unknown songbird came trilling into our garden. In fact the sounds he made brought this song to mind. It was a cool day but the sun was very bright. Sid spent a good part of the day outside in the garden.
I went outside and there was this bird sitting somewhere high above me and he was making sounds like fwit, fwit, fwit, It even got to Sid who started running about looking up and getting all excited. The bird just kept on making that sound and I have no idea what kind of bird it is.
Have you heard or seen any songbirds?

This is a great song. The dance-band Vince was drummer for played it when it first became popular. Mostly their tunes were very old-time but the dancers loved the couple of modern songs they used to play.

Songbirds would be wise to steer clear of Sid!

These little birds came to eat some food I put out. Sid didn't touch them but he purposely it seems sat in the sun on a bench near enough to scare the poor birds off @JohnRoberts
