Feeling a Little Light Headed

I'm back from getting my haircut and I'm feeling lightheaded. I think I must have left a pound or two of hair on the salon floor between my hair and my beard. Now that spring has sprung and seems intent on staying around, I will be glad to have less insulation on the roof. My missus didn't have anything to say about my haircut when I got home. Considering the drastic change in my appearance, one would think she'd have some comment to make. Goodness knows, if she came home from having her hair done and I didn't immediately notice and say something nice I would be in hot water. Does your spouse or significant other notice right away when you get your hair cut or styled? P.S. No, that isn't me either. I didn't get my hair cut quite that short.

My husband usually notices and says something about it. I don't get upset if he doesn't, life is too hectic at times.

Maybe she likes you with a bit more hair and that's why she didn't comment?

She might like more hair than I have now, but she didn't like the mop I was sporting before I got it cut.

Yes, being cats, the only haircuts that would get a comment out of them would be if you tried to give them one.

My wife keeps her hair long because I like it that way and it drives my mother nuts because she thinks women of a certain age should wear their hair short. Good for you for keeping yours long.

If that is your photo strange that your wife did not notice - unless it is said silence is louder than words.

In my case, my family does recognize the differences for having a new haircut.

I'm glad they do. Getting a haircut and not getting noticed for it feels bad.

You should always notice when someone gets their hair cut so you can say how nice that they look.

I try to notice when my co-workers get their hair done. Even if it hasn't been done, they don't seem to mind being told how nice they look.

I notice when he gets a bad cut which is not the usual - the last one was awful! I go to the same stylist and get the same cut every time, so there really is not much to comment on... I like my hair very very very short too but yearly, not just spring and summer.

I had a boss once who went every Wednesday to have her hair touched up. She never changed how she wore it in the two years I worked for her.

I'd prefer my haircuts not to be noticed really. I get embarrassed mostly when someone compliments me. I'd rather go unnoticed.

Well, I do not believe in a woman getting their hair cut due to Religious beliefs, but due to our financial situation and such I have been the main one cutting my husbands hair all of the time for the last couple of yrs, and since I usually wait until the back is getting a little longer it is then that I cut it so there is always a lot to clean up afterwards

Maybe she didn't say anything to you because she didn't know who you were ! Oh definitely Hubby would notice . . . like I commented on your other post, I only get my hair done maybe once a year!

My husband rarely notices when I get a haircut, but then it's never anything as drastic as yours! He does notice new high heels, though. I'm sure you look very dashing.

You really chopped it off. You look good. Most people do not comment when I get a haircut. I try to say something when i see someone did.
