Corned beef and Cabbage and Horse Racing

This was how I made my rainy Saturday exciting. I made a awesome corned beef and cabbage dinner in my pressure cooker. And then I turned on the horse racing channel got out my cell added 50 bucks to my TVG account and played the ponies all day. I won 260 bucks for the day. And luckily didn't give it all back. I still have $138. Maybe I'll have another go at it today? Did you do anything exciting?

wow, nice picture of your dinner. is that the corned beef at the left side? and you had porridge for dinner? my brother would send us some imported corned beef, but when he comes home, he prefers to eat our local corned beef, in cans.

:) yes that is my corned beef to left with cabbage, onions and and garlic. In the bowl to the left is Mashed Potatoes with butter.

@minx267 oh, i thought that is porridge. so it is mashed potatoes. i somehow do not like the texture of mashed potatoes.

Corned beef and cabbage is a favorite of mine. Not sure how popular that combination is with others but I know that for me, corned beef and cabbage hits all the right spots. Grats on the win! Nothing really exciting for me.

No. That was the whole days worth. But I had a few good wins. One was $86 and change and the one right after that I won $103 and change. So it was awesome!
